Yep that's right.  I'm reading a school textbook at 12:45 am on Monday morning.  Lame as it might be, it is to help out my cute little girlfriend Katy who is having to stay up this late to work on a presentation that her mean Word Lit professor assigned to her.  I am here for moral support as I have no idea what world lit is or how to go about making a presentation for it.  Yep, I do much better with circuits, thus the book you see below.

Something new I learned to today.  Mario, the wonderful little plumber with the amazing jump he has that is 5 times his height and fireballs from his hand really is a symbol of communism.  I found a site that proves this fact beyond a shadow of a doubt.  Check it out!  I hope you will excuse the crude language in a few parts.http://www.aethiamud.org/communist_mario/

One thing I would love to add is this truly life changing verse I read today.

"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.  On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  We demolish arguements and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Today is a good day for updating the old blog.  I just have to say that God is doing great stuff in my life and I am loving him more and more for it.  Praise God because he is our eternal healer!

"You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." (Ephesians 4:22-24)

I just think it's amazing how God just totally says that we (Christians) are not who we used to be.  He says that we are new creations with new ideas, new direction, and new goals.  My goal is to serve the Lord with my whole life and spirit and body and mind.  Our old self is corrupt, sick, and dying but we have life in Christ Jesus.  I will never reach perfection here on earth but at least I know that my heart truly lives now that I am letting God fill more and more of it.

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1).

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (v. 8).

"I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more" (Isa. 43:25).

9Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: 10 If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecc. 4:9 - 12

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Heb. 10:23-25).
